The Kids Jiu-Jitsu program at Team Papakōlea Jiu-Jitsu is designed to help children become more aware, respectful, confident, and prepared—not aggressive. In a safe and supportive environment, experienced instructors teach age-appropriate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with an emphasis on practical self-defense, anti-bullying awareness, discipline, listening skills, confidence, and personal safety. Students also learn old-school martial arts etiquette and respect while improving their physical fitness and mental well-being. The minimum age is generally 5 years old.

The Adult Jiu-Jitsu program at Team Papakōlea Jiu-Jitsu is designed for anyone who wants to learn real Jiu-Jitsu and practical self-defense in a beginner-friendly, ego-free environment. You do not have to be in shape before you start—training is how you build that. Experienced instructors guide students through grappling, ground fighting, and submission techniques while helping them improve fitness, confidence, and overall ability. Your first class is not about proving anything; it is about learning, moving, listening, and getting comfortable on the mat.
